Welcome!

Located in the South West corner of Haute Vienne, on the border with Charente and the Dordogne, La Porcherie offers our guests the opportunity escape he hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in quiet luxury in our tranquil and beautiful corner of rural France.

La Porcherie has two bedrooms, both with double beds (one superking), and a large well-equipped open plan living space.

Whilst with us, please enjoy our extensive gardens. Meet our family of animals, relax under the shade of the great lime tree or enjoy a barbecue on your private terrace.

In this region of France, you'll find lovely forest walks, lakes with beaches, small market towns and easy access to larger cities like Limoges.

The area is renowned for its night markets in the summer and other community events. We're 2km from the small village of Saint Mathieu, which a bar, cafe, supermarket, post office and recreational lake with a restaurant and bar, and ten minutes from Piegut-Pluviers, famous for its weekly Wednesday morning market.

Your hosts - that's us Martin and Rod - live on site and are on hand to answer any questions and help ensure you have a enjoyable, relaxing and memorable stay.
